Yes. The Free plan is forever free with unlimited docs, boards, and client-side compression. Upgrade only when you need collaborators or AI.
Where is my data stored?
By default, everything stays on your device (local-first). When you opt into collaboration, encrypted snapshots sync to our edge servers in your region.
Can I import from Notion, Google Docs, or Markdown?
Yes. We support Notion, Google Docs, Confluence, Markdown, and HTML imports. Most docs import in under 2 seconds.
How does compression work?
Everything runs in your browser via WebAssembly. Images, PDFs, and folders are compressed locally — no upload, no server, no risk.
Do you have a desktop app?
A native macOS, Windows, and Linux app ships in Q1. Today, Lumen is a fully offline-capable PWA.
Can I self-host?
Team plan includes a self-host option (Docker + Kubernetes). Contact us for the enterprise license.
